so i'm in the bathtub

and I realize how long it's been since the last time i blogged!

I did however, figure that you could keep up with my life reading Maija's blog.. She writes almost everyday, and other than hanging out with her and her family, I don't really do much...

I work.
I play softball.
I hate my wisdom teeth.
I facebook.
I sleep.
I talk to Jessa and Zach on the phone.

I have a pretty boring life here in Kotzebue, and I don't have a camera, so no wicked cool pictures...
you may have read on Maija's blog that I had a CRAZY fourth of July. Not only was I a bridesmaid in my cousin Angeline's wedding, I participated in Miss Arctic Circle, and helped Maija get ready for the trade fairs, AKA Qatnut.
I have to say, never again will I allow myself to do so much stuff. I was super stressed, and I didn't get nearly enough sleep. Sometimes I still feel like I am trying to calm down, and catch up on sleep.

personally, I LOVE weddings! but wow, there have been so many this month! Just yesterday, my 'sister' Evik called me at 2, and asked for my help. She was freaking out, cause they had spent the night before decorating the church with alder and fireweed and other wildflowers. When she went to the church to make the last adjustments, she found EVERYTHING wilted and dead looking! Of course I agreed to help her, and I left work to help decorate for a wedding, when I didn't know bride OR groom! ( I later realized, I did know the bride) We re-did all of the decorations, and they ended up looking very very nice. We also added the final touches to the boquets for the bridesmaids, and made Mrs. Schaeffer's boquet, which turned out very very pretty. The wedding itself was nice and short. The funniest thing happened. RIGHT BEFORE the bride and groom kissed, the groom took out a shot of tequila and took it! Then he kissed his bride. Personally, I would be very mad at the groom, but she thought it was funny, and so did the rest of the church. The reception was decorated very nice as well, and the cake was something else! it was three tiered, and on the top, was the bride chasing the groom, and on the other side, was a snowmachine! I thought "only in Alaska" hahahahaha After the cake was cut, the bride threw her boquet, and guess who caught it? if you guessed me, WOW your an amazing guesser! I thought it was ironic, because I made it and all, but it's very pretty, and is currently hanging upside down in the laundry room, sprayed with hairspray!

Latley, I have been fighting with my job, and so far, my job is winning. We got a new supervisor this summer, and at first she was very nice. BUT not so much anymore. I hear that she was once a principal, and I have no issues believing it, cause she treats us like we were 1o. "I don't want to hear you laughing" "do I hear you guys talking? because I really shouldn't" and so on...You wonder why my job is winning possibly? It's winning cause I can't afford to quit, or just stop going... ehh hopefully in the fall I will have a decent job.

I vow to write in my blog a lot more often when I actually have a life to talk about. (when I move back to Anchorage)

once again, no pictures

I was going to post a blog at Maija's today, but instead I went over to my Aunt Lovie and cousin Buddy's, who passed away in a fire in December of 2007. The house had not been cleaned out after it burned almost to the ground. Her daughter decided this year when the City did their large item pick up, that most of her mother's house would be torn down, put in in a pile, and picked up. Today was extra special, becuase it would have been Buddy's 7th birthday, and he loved tractors and things like that. (which of course were used in the process of tearing the house down) It was such an 'eye sore' as Saima called it to pass by Aunt Lovie's house. I have to say, even though I just flagged most of the time we were out there, I enjoyed being able to watch everything come apart. It was relaxing in a sense. Sure I passed by her house plenty of times and it was obvious that it had burnt down, but I never actually went to the house. I missed her funeral because I was on a trip to Las Vegas. It will be nice to pass by her property and see that the burnt house is gone, and a fresh new start is available.

On a different note, Cathy's husband caught an Ugruk a couple nights ago, and on Sunday and Monday, Zach and I spent many hours at Maija's house, helping with what we could. Zach had only seen seals alive and in the water, so he thought it was pretty cool. We did however, have to do the 'little kid' jobs... like cut the excess meat off of the blubber and cut the blubber in strips. We even took the four wheeler out to toward the cemetary and pick stinkweed for the floor of the drying room. I have to say, picking stinkweed during this time of the year is no easy task. The old dead stinkweed is still connected, and the plant itself is only about 5 or 6 inches high. We filled 4 trash bags about 2/3 full though.

YAY Maija, Dean, and the family is back from their vacation, which means no more ducks, and no more stinky loose dogs. whoop whoop.

I am off to bed, thankful that someone in the heavens was looking down on us today and blessing us with PERFECT weather for tearing a house down. I have a feeling i'll sleep like a baby tonight.

If it's not one thing, it's another

I spoke too soon about being semi happy about the animals. The ducks are still not giving me problems, except for the fact that they are in the dark, and I need to find a new extension cord, and a new place to plug it in, since Shockie chewed up the first extension cord, and the only plug in that I can get to is near her...
I don't know where keys are to the bed and breakfast, so I can't use those plug ins, however; they would be perfect.
The dogs are driving me nuts now! As soon as I let them both in lastnight, Shockie peed on the floor.. and then this morning, Nudge did. No more water during the day for them.. just when I feed them in the morning. Not only did they pee on the floor, just because I thought I could fall asleep in a quiet house, the dogs had other plans for my night. They wrestled ALL night lastnight. I was very very very angry after about the 10th time I woke up to them growling at each other and bumping into the bed and walls etc..
So I did what any other sleepy crazy woman would do, I got up, swore a few times, and then beat the dogs up. They then went to opposite sides of the bedroom, where Nudge sounded like an old man snoring all night and Shockie was breathing so hard, I swear she was having an asthma attack.
Just when I thought that they couldn't get into any more trouble, I came home for lunch and found Shockie loose... AGAIN
She got into all the trash I picked up YESTERDAY from when she got into it on Saturday.... She is now really really DIRTY, and will not sleep in the house for the remainder of my stay at Maija's. She is also stuck inside the kennel, becuase she has now broken THREE collars, and Maija and Dean do not have anymore.

I have run out of reasons to keep her at all....

I decided on a name for my duck... dinner

here are the two pictures I took for my last blog!

Since then, Saima has come home. She brought home potty pads, which were supposed to make my life easier, because they are much easier to clean. Saima however, decided that the ducks were far too large to still be inside the house. So, her and I, but mostly her, went into the meat drying 'room' and made a little corner for them. We put hay on the ground, and took out any potential dangers. Saima found use to one of the old games that Maija and Dean made for Kaisa's birthday. It was perfect, I came inside and got a lightbulb and a new water bowl. I found Kaisa's REALLY old stool that she used to be able to reach the sink and filled it with water. The ducks LOVE it. Not only can they drink and clean themselves with it, some even swim in it. We also found a plastic dish to use for the food. FINALLY it was time to put the ducks in their new home. As soon as I started putting them in there, they were going crazy, being louder than ever. One duck was even trying to swim in the hay, it was the funniest thing! Saima called and left a message on Maija's cell phone so she could hear how happy they were, and we sat and watched them for aboutj 15 minutes, I have to say they are much cuter now that they are not in the house. Still though, I am no where near as attached to them as I thought I would be, and I will still be fine with shooting/eating them for dinner, hence the name of my wonderful mallard: DINNER!

I figured it's a name that is perfect, since we will be eating him for dinner. (I decided he is a male)

The ducks grow SO much everyday, a couple of the Harlequins look like actual ducks. They don't have much feathers yet, but they are HUGE!

I would post pictures and a video of the very happy, ever growing ducks, but the only camera I have is the one that's built into this computer. I figure that it's not the best idea to try and take it outside.

I vow

to NEVER get ducks. or more than one dog at a time. Maija and her WHOLE family went to Dean's hometown. He is super excited, and so is everyone else. They did manage to buy TWELVE, I repeat TWELVE ducklings a few days before they left.. They were cute and cuddly the first couple of days, but now that Maija and Dean are gone, they are very very very stinky, and LOUD they managed to learn how to sound like an actual duck, instead of just a mild whistle, so all I hear are ducks quaking, CONSTANTLY. It's making me crazy! Since they are THREE times the size as they were before, they seem to be hungry a lot more often, and that means that they poop a whole bunch more! GROSS. They also are growing feathers, which means they are pokey, and GROSS feeling.
I have to clean their kennel like home THREE times a day! GROSS. I spend the majority of my one hour lunch break cleaning them out, which leaves me with little time to eat, becuase I change my clothes, change the kennel, and then I have to change my clothes AGAIN. gross. Needless to say, I am not the most excited about having ducks as pets.

Not only are the ducks driving me wild, Shockey, the BEAUTIFUL lab, managed to get loose the DAY Maija left. She had Nudge chew through her collar and then she dug in the trash. She didn't just dig though, she dragged the trash over to Nudge, because god forbid she leave him out of the fun, since he was still tied up. I called Dean about a new collar for her, and he, of course, told me to call Maija, who had me put her in the kennel outside. Of course Shockey pooped in that kennel, and then WALKED/LAY all over it! GROSS! (starting to get the repetition?) She will be sleeping outside for the remainder of Dean and Maija's vacation.

On top of the GROSS things i have to deal with, i CANNOT sleep at all. I am terrified of the DUMBEST things. I fall asleep, have a nightmare, wake up scared, go back to sleep, and then have the SAME nightmare. OVER AND OVER AND OVER again, until I give up and start reading or something. and when I finally fall asleep and stop having the same nightmare, my alarm goes off and i have work. This past week, I have been physically at work, and thats about it. I don't even know what I wore today. yikes.

On a positive note, I had dinner with the Hull's and Tuning's lastnight. It was really really good! We had our first practice for softball, which makes me excited to play this summer. AND best of all, Zach is coming next Friday. WHOOP WHOOP

I wrote most of this blog lastnight, but the internet stopped working, of course. I also had pictures of how I felt, and one of the ducks.. they will be posted later.

I should probably be working.

it's been too long

since I posted a new blog, so here are three..todays, and two that I wrote in the course of the past two weeks.

SIKE!

I saved the ones I wrote wrong. so dumb.

here's a brief!

It took me over 8 hours of flying to make it back to Kotzebue, which SUCKED. I got on flight 151 on Saturday to make it home for graduation... and didn't actually make it to Kotzebue until flight 151 on Sunday, after having missed graduation! that was very frustrating, and sad.

I started working on Monday morning at 7, and so far, my job SUCKS the people I work with drive me absolutley nutso! I do however get paid on Friday.. hopefully, because as of right now, I don't have an employee number, which might mean no paycheck. Which would RUIN my birthday, which happens to be on Friday as well!

Kotzebue is cold. and there is WAYY too much water and snow. I have to wear my rubber boots to work every morning, and yesterday, I almost got wet, because the water in my front yard was so deep. Today though, Charlotte, Maija, Kaisa, Nudgent, and I went for a walk, and it was pretty nice. I am starting to enjoy the weather here.

On Sunday, I took the time to cut off Charlotte's cast. Onni broke her knuckle a few weeks back, and after an eventfull night out, her cast got very very wet. and STINKY. So I cut it off, it took us a set of plyers, tweezers, a knife, and a pair of kitchen scissors...that broke (=

I ended up with very sore thumbs.. and then I called Zach, who informed me that if we had just soaked her cast in hot water, it would have unraveled. STUPID!

off to bed for me!

Hippity hop

I tried to upload my video earlier, but my spanish teacher caught me not paying attention. HAHA
Here it is though!

Thanks to my classmate Brian!!

Other than my hip hop class, I have finals on Friday, and then I am DONE! Charm and harry moved, and I have been pretty much living at Blanches. We had an awesome time on Friday, Blanche's aunt Nancy had been in town throug the week, and decided to leave on Saturday. We had a huge barbeque and played kings cup and pong. I don't remember the last time I laughed as hard as I did that night. I am headed to Kotzebue on Saturday morning to catch graduation, and to start working. I am really excited...mostly. I miss softball and making money, but I am really going to miss Anchorage this summer, among other things (= I will put pictures up in a different blog. It's being slowww

hello 1980's

My hip hop dance final was today! It was so exciting. I got all dressed up in 80's gear, and then headed to my final. We preformed dead LAST, so i had plenty of time to be nervous, and whatnot. The preformance itself ended up being very good. It was a lot better than last year, when I messed up in my modern final. As soon as I can, I will post the video, but I can't figure out how to get it off the program on my computer.

feeling better.

I went to kotzebue on Tuesday morning, and came back on Wednesday. The trip was AWESOME, it was so nice to be in Kotzebue. I can't wait till I go home for the summer now. Except for the fact that there's so much damn snow. I had a MAJOR sinus headache when I left Kotzebue, and when I got to Anchorage, I went straight to bed and started watching Gillmore Girls. I went to sleep at about 10:00 pm and didn't get up until about 5:00 pm the next day, I still felt like crap though. THEN Jessa called me, and told me that she was coming into Anchorage this weekend. So I went straight to bed, and slept for another 14 hours hoping that I would feel better. I do feel a lot better now, my nose is just runny, and annoying, and I cough once in a while. I am super super excited to see jessa this weekend! even though her boyfriend is coming with her, which may change a lot. the dang time isn't going by nearly fast enough. I have cleaned my room, made myself dinner, curled my hair, put make-up on, and watched about 4 episodes of Gillmore Girls, which is my new addiction. I started watching it like 2 weeks ago, and I am on season three (=
ohh almost forgot, latley, everytime I go downstairs and see Aiden, he cries when I try to leave him. I don't know what changed him.. he started this after I came back from my two day trip to kotzebue. makes me wonder how he's gonna be when I leave for the summer. I'm really gonna miss him. Anyway, I am off... to find something to waste my time. until jessa gets here. I'll post pictures from this weekend on Sunday or Monday

Kotzebue Tomorrow (=

I'm headed to the Elmendorf Air Force base in less than 14 hours! yay
Saima will be in Anchorage tonight, and she will drop me off at the gate at 8:00 a.m. Saima has appointments tomorrow here in Anchorage and I will be backWednesday night. I still haven't decided on what I will say to all my old high school buddies. I have to 'motivate' them to further their education to get better jobs, and yadda yadda. Besides Kotzebue, I am excited about our dance final! It's coming togeather, and the more we add on, the funner it becomes to preform. We are close to done with it, Leslie said we may finish it by Wednesday. She wants to preform it outside without the music, and I am hoping that we decide to do that, becuase that would be super fun! Since I wont be in class on Wednesday, I hope that she doesn't decide to go outside as SOON as it gets done. I think there was a misunderstanding between my math teacher and I, because she told me that I needed to do THREE quizzes or tests before last Saturday at midnight. So, I had already done two, and I did one more on Saturday afternoon. I got an e-mail today saying that she withdrawled me from the class. Thats frustrating, so I am going to e-mail her and ask why, and see if there are any other options. I am frustrated by this, because if I really am withdrawled from the class, I will have to pay for the rest of college on my own. Which wont be TOO bad if I stay in Anchorage, and only go to school for four years. So this sort of ruins my plans to attend another college at this point. Eventually, I am sure it will all work out, and there is no way that I am going to stop going to college. Even though I keep hitting stupid little bumps, that might ruin many other people. This summer I might be able to save enough money for next semester, but I will have to get a job here in Anchorage when I come back, which is what I planned on doing this semester, but that didn't happen, due to some roommate and baby issues. Hopefully I can either find some non-physco roommates, or live in the dorm. I am kind of at a standstill with my living arrangements for now. Maybe if Jessa comes to school next semester, we can share a SMALL apartment.. I miss her! She called me today, and said that she wanted to come to Anchorage this weekend, and I am super excited about that, even though it's just a maybe right now. I am always happier when she's around.

I just figured out how I can put my music video on this, but I am at school right now, and I don't want to save the video to this computer, so I will do it when I get home. I will also post pictures from the weekend up.
Remember, what goes around comes around. Hopefully very good things start happening soon (=

Lonely Easter

First of all, Happy Easter (=

I miss my family a lot more than normal today.
Everyone is out celebrating Easter with their family, and I am sitting at home waiting for Charm's cousin Devon to come over so we can change my cars tires. (one popped lastnight when I was driving home) I guess it's not so bad, I could be working, like Charm. I am going to dinner at Blanche's later on, but Easter is just not the same when i don't get to color eggs, or hide them, or wake up to a basket full of surprises from the 'easter bunny' I also miss eating easter breakfast at my mom's, I haven't had decent pancakes since christmas! The village inn and gwennies pancakes just don't compare to homecooked sourdough pancakes made with none-other than LOVE. I am super excited about going home on Tuesday (= even though I will only be there overnight, it's going to be nice to see my family before I come back to Anchorage for my dreaded FINALS. That reminds me, I should probably study.... yikes, the end of the semester is coming up a lot quicker than I thought! I am getting more and more excited for summer. I am definatley excited for softball!! and making some dang money, I should have my job back at the hosptial... which is good, it's a good job for someone like me. I'm off to change my tires and come up with a cute easter hair style, so I feel a little in the spirit of this holiday.

we had lost our false teeth

Heather and I played with the camera on her computer for like a half hour, when the ONLY reason why we even went to her house was so that she could use the bathroom. She forgot all about going to the bathroom and we did this instead

just another manic monday

Wish it was Sunday.

Mondays are always the longest for me. Today especially, because my sister called at 8:39 this morning. She was calling to ask if I wanted to go home for a couple days next week, which is a good thing, BUT I never get up before about 9:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. After I got off the phone with her, Stefanie Armstrong called from Nana to officially ask if I were willing to head up to Kotzebue for the career fair. Of course I agreed. After I got off the phone, I could not sleep, so I straitened my hair, which only lasted about 10 minutes, and then decided to force myself to try and fall back asleep. I did, and when I got back up at 9:30, I was even more tired than before. I got up anyway and headed to Hip Hop. In my hip hop class, I had to be WIDE awake, and pay close attention, since I was sick last Wednesday, and the other students had gone farther in our final dance routine. It was very hard for me to pay attention and try to learn what the other students already knew. After hip hop, I went to the LRC to get ready for Spanish class, which I missed a test for last week, because of the stupid sickness. I met with our teacher before class and figured out how to make everything I missed up. I knew that today would be long, but I didn't realize how bad it was to procrastinate until till now. In my Enligsh class, we are writing Rhetorical Analysis' which are worth 20% of our final grade...thats more than the FINAL EXAM. Today, we had to peer review each others rough draft, which ment I had to have a 3-5 page rough draft ready before my English class at 5:30. As soon as I got out of Spanish I knew that I would have to bust my butt to get done with this assigment, but since I was so tired from waking up extra early, I decided to take a nap first (= I slept from about 2:30-3:30 and then got up and proceeded to work on my essay. I finished the essay in time, but it is no where near worth 200 points. Now I am in class working with comma splices and it's nice and annoying. I don't get out of this darn English class until 8:15 pm. I am definatley going home and laying in bed for the rest of the night. Maybe I will finish the second season of Gillmore Girls that I recently got addicted to and maybe I will keep reading Eclipse, which I FINALLY got!!! yay.

Other than all my school stuff, I am doing okay. I have recently realized that I HATE strippers and thier drug dealer boyfriends. I would not advise anyone to become friends with people like that. They do not care about ANYONE except themselves, and even then, they do not care about themselves very much. I also decided that I am going back to Kotzebue this summer to work and live with my madre. yay me. I hate to admit that I miss Kotzebue a little. I am excited for softball season (= I also miss Onni, and my neices and nephew. I guess summer time in Kotzebue is not too bad, and I will save money by not having to pay rent. I have also applied for college at the University of Portland, and Eastern Oregon University. I also decided that I will apply for a couple of other places, so I will possibly have diffrent options. SOOO keep your fingers crossed that I get into a new college!! I will put some pictures up of me and Minnie Girl, my sisters puppy and a couple of other randoms eventually. LIKE the pictures that me Megan, Mare, and Merie took lastnight while drinking my new favorite, strawberry wine. We made a music video to "poker face" and if I can, I will put it up as well.

mmm, cookies!

I'm making the "famous" chocolate chip cookies (=
that is, if Harry comes back fast enough with the chocolate chips, because I might just eat all of the dough.

Other than the fact that im getting fat from cookie dough... im dead broke (= I have been living off of noodles and cereal. So cookies are a HUGE step up! Charm had to go to the dentist today, so she's sleeping in the living room, and right before I came to the kitchen to cook, I put Aiden to sleep.

he seems so much cuter when hes sleeping!

I am still waiting on the third book from the Twlight series.. I finished New Moon on Wednesday, and since Charm's sister took Eclipse, I haven't started it. Let me say, IM DYING!!!
Here are a couple more pictures of Aiden and I (=

Sleepy boy kisses for aunty!

I love Saima

In my first blog, I said that im better known as Maija's little sister... and I didn't mention that I am also Saima's little sister. I love them both equally (=

Mount Redoubt

Last night, Mount Redoubt erupted at about 10:38 p.m. (and 5 other times so far)At the time, I was babysitting Aiden, because Charm and Harry wanted to go to a movie. So, as soon as I heard about the volcano, I texted Charm, and about 10 minutes later she called me, saying that the movie was cut short and she was on her way to Carrs, to pick up essentials. Bottled water, baby food, fresh vegetables. and of course she got other things, including vanilla pudding (so I could make cookies) and Sunny D.

When they finally made it home, which was about 1:00 am. We put everything away, and went to cover the windows that were cracked and cover the engines of our cars. We stayed up till about 2:00 am, which happened to be the estimated time that the ash reached Anchorage. Charm and Harry headed to bed, but I couldn't sleep because I started reading Twilight. I am about 2/3 done with the book now. I can't keep my eyes out of it. I was fine with staying awake, since I expected not to have class this morning. I read till about 3:30 or 4:00 am.

Then, this morning Charm came downstairs to briefly let Kensei out, she mentioned that outside didn't look any different than lastnight. So, I had her go onto the school's website and to my surprise, we still had class BOOO

So I went back to bed, thinking "Maybe i'll just skip Hip Hop today" YEAH RIGHT I woke up at 9:30 and decided to go (= My day was good, I have about 100 pages left before I finish Twilight, and my English teacher liked my thesis statement for my rhetorical analysis. So, now, I go back to reading and possibly doing math homework

Wisdom Teeth, English, Glasses, and Seward

I hope that since my stupid Wisdom teeth are growing, and i'm in so much stupid pain, that as soon as they fully come out, I will be blessed with wisdom. HAHA yeah right.

So yesterday, I laid in bed, all day, becuase my jaw hurt, and so did my head, and so did my stomach. Now, you may think that it was a simple cause of the hangover that so many college students suffer from, but hadn't consumed and alcholic beverage for at least 48 hours. At about 5:30 p.m. I decided to try and eat something, BAD idea. I threw it all up about 15 minutes later. Today, I feel better though, i've eaten, quite a bit, and now i'm in class.

So, over spring break, our english teacher assigned us to post a music video. This music video had to be able to be rhetorically analyzed. After many hours of deciding the perfect music video, I chose "Runaway Love" by Ludacris featuring Mary J. Blige. When we got to class today, she told us that we would have to vote for our two favorite videos and the top four would be used in the actual assignment. Needless to say, I was pissed not only because I knew that most of the other students wouldn't choose my video, but because that ment that I would have to write a 4-5 page paper on a music video that I didn't want to write about. Whatever I guess I will be writing about Johnny Cash, or maybe Linkin Park...

I wrote most of that on Monday, but I ran out of time. Now it's Tuesday night. Lastnight, Carolyn, Megan, and me decided to take a drive. Megan was mad at her...whatever he is, so we got into her little red bug and left Anchorage for Seward. We ended up driving all the way there and back! It was fun, I was super energetic and I sang and danced to almost every song. We got to seward at about 2:30 am and Seward is just as boring as another one of my friends make it sound. So we headed back to Anchorage. I fell asleep right before we got to the city limits of Seward and didn't wake up until I was at home. Today, I got a new perscription for glasses, and apparently my eyes are twice as bad as when I got my last perscription. Hopefully tomorrow I will get new glasses. Which I can't wait for.

State Basketball for high school is going on right now and Carolyn, Cody, and I watched from about 5:15 to 9:30 tonight. We watched Carolyn's hometown win the semi-finals and at the same time, the point hope girls lost. Then we watched the Noorvik boys play. That was exciting. Tim Field dunked twice!! They won. Then we started watching the Point Hope boys play, and at half time, point hope was ahead by quite a bit and Carolyn realized that she was late for work. So we left and now I am hanging out with her at her job, eating green fry bread, and watching a nasty show about close encounters.

Also Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

Gone Fishin'

Last night, my friend Heather and I went to the midnight showing of "The Last House on the Left." Let me tell you, it was awesome! Very scary in a real kind of way I guess. Reminds me not take things from complete strangers! After the movie, Heather and I rode around Anchorage, looking for something to do, since we were not about to fall asleep right after seeing that movie. We drove and BSed, almost like being back in kotzebue!

This morning, I woke up at 9:30 am, to Charm and Harry's new puppy. He is a seven week old lab boarder collie mix. Reminds me of Onni though, he looks more like a lab in my eyes. I'll put a picture up as soon as I get one. Anyway, when he finally fell back asleep, I was wide awake of course. So I picked up my book, "White is for Magic" and started reading where I left off last night. I was about a third way done with the book at this point. I finished it this morning and there was no way I was about to sleep after reading that, because it's about a girl, named Stacey, who has nightmares for weeks and weeks before they finally start coming true! Very interesting, because she's into the whole witch thing and conducts spells. After reading that, I decided that I should try and do something with my day, and that was when I decided to attempt doing math homework. Big Failure! :)

So I showered up and called Heather. We decided to go to Plato's Closet, a Value Village, very cool. I snagged a cute grey shirt for four dollars! Heather and I part ways to start 'getting ready' for the night. Of course I started getting ready as soon as I got home, Heather on the other hand, got lazy. Now i'm all dolled up, with no book to read to pass the time! She's on her way over, cause apparently she needs my amazing curling iron.

So, tonight our plan is to "go fishing" for guys, a bit cliche i know, but sounded funny lastnight when we were super tired. So wish me luck, or bad luck...depending on who you are (=

Theres a first time for everything

So, i'm Elsa. Better known as Maija's little sister perhaps.
I live in Anchorage, sometimes too far away from my family in Kotzebue, and sometimes way too close. I'm a freshman at U.A.A. I have no idea what I want to do yet, BUT I am a dance minor and I love it.
Living in Anchorage is like the funnest/hardest/craziest thing I have ever done. I have some crazy best friends and I love them!

I will, however, miss Kotzebue since i did grow up there.
Right now I should be doing math homework, even though it's my spring break and every other college student is partying it up, i'm sitting in my pajamas (at 4:30 pm) and doing math homework. Like a geek, which i'm not.
